RESORT RESIDENCIES
Guest chef residencies and culinary experiences created for hotels, resorts and their guests.
A NEW STORY FOR YOUR GUESTS
Alma Nómada creates temporary culinary residencies for hotels and resorts —bringing a fresh perspective to the destination while becoming part of what is already there.
From intimate destination dinners and guest chef evenings to private villa experiences or a longer residency, each collaboration is created around the character of the resort, its surroundings and its guests.
With more than 27 years in fine dining, Mark de Korte brings his Mediterranean perspective into the existing culinary culture — working with local ingredients, producers and teams rather than arriving with a fixed concept.
Something new for your guests. Something that belongs to the place.
A RESIDENCY CAN BECOME…
An intimate series of guest dinners.
A table created around the destination.
Private dining experiences for villa guests.
A culinary collaboration around a special weekend, retreat or season.
A longer guest chef residency, created together with your culinary team.
Or simply an idea we haven’t created yet.
CREATED WITH THE PLACE, NOT FORCED UPON IT
No two destinations need the same experience.
A residency begins with understanding the resort — its philosophy, its guests, the landscape, local ingredients and the people already shaping its hospitality.
From there, we create something that feels natural to the destination while bringing a recognisable Alma Nómada perspective: Mediterranean at heart, personal in approach and refined in execution.
The existing culinary and hospitality teams remain part of the story. A residency is there to collaborate, inspire and add another layer to the guest experience.
27 YEARS AROUND THE TABLE
Mark de Korte founded Alma Nómada after more than 27 years in restaurants and fine dining.
As chef-owner of Restaurant Marque in the Netherlands, his work was recognised by the Michelin Guide, Gault&Millau and Lekker500.
Alma Nómada takes that experience beyond the walls of the restaurant — into destinations where food becomes part of a much larger experience of place, people and hospitality.
The restaurant stays behind. The experience travels
